Our quick and easy guides:
+ Screw Mount
Tools
- Template
- Masking Tape
- Small bubble level
- Drill
- Drill bit 0.8mm
- 3mm slotted screwdriver
Number parts
- Screws
1 – Location
Start by taping the template to the chosen location, stepping back to see how it looks.
Next use the template’s center and horizontal lines to center and level the template, then tape all 4 sides to secure it.
2 – Pilot holes
The surface should be suitable for wood screw fasteners, any doubt, get a professional to assist at this point. The template has crosshairs over each number's holes, use these as guides and drill screw length pilot holes though the template, with the 0.8mm drill bit provided. Remove the template and wipe clean any debris.
5 – Fasten
Handling the numbers carefully, attach one at a time. half screwing at first, then, being carful not to slip, screwing them all flush.

1 – Location
Start by taping the template to the chosen location, step back to see how it looks. Check to see if all the holes can be drilled, a hole at the edge of masonry will prove hard to drill accurately. Check what is behind the surface, such as wiring or pipework behind paneling. Get a professional to assist at this point if needed.
Next use the template’s center and horizontal lines to center and level the template, then tape all 4 sides to secure it.
2 – Assemble the numbers
On a tray with a soft cloth, unpack the number parts face down, and screw in the studs, sliding the collars over the studs, if they are being used. keep this tray away from dust and debris of the next step.
3 – Drilling the holes
Floating drill depth (with the collar) = 45mm / 1.77 inches
Flush drill depth (without collar) = 55mm / 2.16535
Mark the drill depth on the drill bit with tape. The template shows the hole locations, it’s worth taking a moment to check the studs are all assembled and they line up with the template.
Using hammer mode, drill the holes though the template to the tape mark. Try to remove as much of the loose dust as possible while drilling, then remove the template and clean away debris.
4 – Checking the fit
Handling the numbers carefully, offer each number to the holes and slide them into place, the studs should be loose enough to slide into all the holes by hand only. With all the numbers in place, check that they have hole space to be level and uniformly spaced from the wall. Where the fit is tight, look to incrementally remove more material, testing the fit continually until the holes allow the numbers to mount uniformly. Then remove for the next stage.
5 – Applying the Adhesive
We recommend a two part polyester resin and dispensing gun, this example has a single fine mixing nozzle and a short setting time.
Half fill the holes with adhesive, then insert the numbers, removing any excess with a cloth, preventing contact with the numbers. Ideally the resin fills the hole just to the back of the collar when in place.
Check continually that the numbers are staying level and flat, as the resin cures. Looser fits with more adhesive may require the numbers to be held in place to prevent subtle movement as the adhesive cures.
6 – Done!
Stand back and enjoy your new home view.
